Kenneth Eugene “Bud” Cagle, 81, of Double Springs entered into rest on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at his residence.
He was born March 30, 1939 in Double Springs, Alabama. He was a member of Rock Creek Freewill Baptist. He loved to coon hunt in his younger days and loved caring for his farm animals, goats and dogs. He enjoyed working in the woods and drinking coffee.
Visitation will be Friday, December 4, 2020 from 5pm-7pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, where the service will be Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 12pm. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery.
Bud is survived by his wife, Erma Estelle Cagle; sons, Silas Darrell (Deborah) Cagle, Bradford Doyle Cagle, Darrick Eugene Cagle and Darry Lee Cagle; daughter, Tina Elaine (William) Bailey; sister, Mary Lou Borden; 14 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; special friend, Homer Rice and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Silas Murphy Cagle and Willie Mae Bobo Cagle; son, Kenneth O’Dell Cagle; brother, Benjamin Murphy “Benny” Cagle; sister, Evey Mae Cagle and a great grandson, Adanias O’Dell Cagle.
