Mr. Kenneth E. Rainwater, 86, of Florence, passed away March 4, 2024. He was a member of Cross Point Church of Christ. Mr. Rainwater served his country in the U.S. Army.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 10-12 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 12 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Mark Sain officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park with military funeral honors.
Mr. Rainwater was preceded in death by his parents, Murry Clifton and Ina Mae Rainwater; and a grandson, Jonathan Rainwater.
He is survived by his wife, Jessie Lauderdale Rainwater; son, Kenneth R. Rainwater; step-son, Reid Johnson (Jamie); daughters, Cathy Jones (Kevin), and Carol Pace (Greg); step-daughter, Dina Chase (Todd); grandchildren, Elizabeth Llewellyn (RJ), and William Whaley; 2 step-grandsons; 2 step-granddaughters; and 1 great-step-grandson.
