Keith Dewayne Drummond, age 72 of Parrish, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026 at his residence.
Keith was a devoted father and grandfather whose greatest joy in life was the time he spent with those he loved. He was known for his kind heart, his playful sense of humor, and his ability to make others laugh. A natural prankster, Keith never missed an opportunity to bring a smile to someone’s face.
Keith dedicated 42 years of service to Alabama Power, where he built a career marked by hard work, commitment, and integrity. His strong work ethic and dedication earned the respect of both colleagues and friends throughout the years.
When he wasn’t working, Keith could often be found enjoying one of his favorite pastimes—fishing. Whether spending a quiet day on the water or sharing stories with family and friends, he found peace and happiness in the outdoors.
Keith leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to have shared in his life.
The family will forever remember his warm spirit, his mischievous sense of humor, and the love he gave so freely to those around him.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 26, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. Ryan Cagle will officiate.
Mr. Drummond was preceded in death by his Parents-Durant and Virginia Drummond; Cousin-Dwight Posten.
He is survived by his Wife-Hazel Drummond; Sons-Brian Drummond (Patricia), Brandon Drummond (Katina), Eric Drummond, Greg Cagle (Dana), Jared “Bubba” Cagle (Kayse) and Ryan Cagle (Jordan); Sister-Fritzi Amerson (Jack); Grandchildren-Rose Drummond, Amelia Drummond, Braxley Drummond, Adley Drummond, Slader Cagle (Haley), Sarah Cagle, Garrett Cagle (Autumn), Trace Cagle, Lizzy Cagle, Liam Brown, Lexi Brown, Judah Cagle, Silas Cagle, Ava Dunn, Colton Griffin and Owen Griffin; Great Grandchildren-Lillie Griffin, Zayden Cagle and Houston Sickles.
