Kayla Ann Howard Glover, 23, of Florence, Alabama was tragically taken away on Saturday, January 24, 2015. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 28th from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Spry~Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will be Thursday, January 29th at 12:00 noon at Killen United Methodist Church with Brother Brian McIntyre officiating. She will lie-in-state from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon at the church. She will be laid to rest at Killen City Cemetery. Pallbearers are Corey Howard, Mikey Wright, Steven Robertson, Shane Blalock, Jameriz Vinson, and Jordan Holland. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Edward Howard, Sr.; great-grandparents, Norman and Winifred Reid. Kayla, beloved daughter, sister, wife, and mother leaves behind parents Sherry and Hal Howard, a brother Corey Howard, a sister Elyssa Howard, her husband Austin Glover, their daughters Natalya and Nevaeh Glover, grandparents Mary Ann and David Rogal and Peggy Howard. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Kayla was born September 2, 1991 in Wyandotte, Michigan. She moved to Florence in 2000. Kayla was a cheerleader at Florence High School before transferring to Brooks High School where she graduated with honors in 2009. She attended Northwest Shoals Community College’s EMT program. Kayla was a hostess and server at Texas Roadhouse. Her greatest joy in life was being a mom. Kayla will be greatly missed by all.
