Kathleen Nichols, 87, died Sunday, January 27, 2013 at the North Ms. Medical Center. She was a native of Mississippi and a homemaker. She was a member of Liberty Church of Christ.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 29, at Liberty Church of Christ, Dennis, Ms. with Ron Deaton, David Conley and Glen Harrison officiating. Burial will be in Lindsey Cemetery, Dennis, Ms. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, Ms. will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are two daughters – Gunita Cashion (Robert) Golden, Ms. and Joan Moody (Tommy) Belmont, Ms.; six grandchildren – Bryant Cashion (Dana), Kerry Moody (Keri), Amanda Ledbetter (Hal), Kendra Deaton (Andy), Kale Moody (Samantha) and Katie Crane (David); thirteen great-grandchildren – Kaitlyn Moody, Maggie Ledbetter, Robert Cashion III, Darby Deaton, Olivia Cashion, Madeline Ledbetter, Kerstin Moody, Ava Crane, Jacey Deaton, Will Moody, Molly Moody, Anderson Crane and Adele Crane; one brother – Kelly Tidwell (Betty) Dennis, Ms.; a sister-in-law – Mary Lynn Wilbanks, Collierville, Tn.; special nephews – Dr. Phillip Gray (Margaret), Bill Gray (Janice), Tim Gray (Regina) and Jeff Gray (Tina) and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Nichols; her parents, Henry Tidwell and Hestie Keith Tidwell and her siblings – Otha Tidwell, Estie Leitch, Herbert Tidwell, Homer Tidwell, Maurice Tidwell, Eula Harrison, Ruth Byram, Billy Mack Tidwell, Nadine Gray, J.D. Tidwell, Nell Gray Pharr and Bobbie Bostick Ware.
Pallbearers will be Glen Harrison, Boyd Lee Tidwell, Jimmy Tidwell, Willie Smith, Buddy Hall, Danny Smith, Harold Oswalt and Robert Hester.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Monday, January 28, at Liberty Church of Christ and until service time on Tuesday.
