Kathleen Hale, 92, passed away at her home on Saturday, April 25, 2026 surrounded by her family. She was born in MS to John Roy and Analiza Gatlin Epps. She worked for many years as a seamstress at Blue Bell, Wrangler and Golden Manufacturing. She was loved by her children and grandchildren who affectionally called her “Mamaw Goosey.” She enjoyed cooking for her family and spending time with all of them.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS assisted the family.
She is survived by her children, Linda Johnson (Johnny), Bobby Hale (Janice), Gary Hale (Traci), Sandra Wiggins and Debra Williams; her grandchildren, Stephanie Thrasher, Jill Britnell (Gary), Cory Hale, Allison Hale, Amber Hale and Courtney Yager (Kyle) and her great-grandchildren, Daryl-Anna Thrasher, Noah Hale and Juniper Yager.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Gordan Hale and Fred Hale; brother, Billy Epps and a sister, Willodean Moore.
