Mrs. Kathaleen Bates, 95, of Scottsboro, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2019.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. Neal Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 29, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bates is survived by her children, Linda Arnold, Johnney Bates, Sharon Jones, and Elaine Richardson; 14 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 24 great great grandchildren; brothers, Floyd Kindred, Edward Kindred, and Cecil Kindred.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
