Karen Delight Engle best known by Delight passed away peacefully at home on October 9, 2026 at the age of 70.
Delight was a precious soul with spunk and a great sense of humor, she always said she got that from her daddy. She was a devoted wife, mother and granny. She always made sure her family knew how much she loved them, and oh how she loved her family!
Delight never ceased to amaze her family and friends with all of her talents and accomplishments, from earning two degrees simultaneously while caring for her family of 5, to all her creations from oil paintings, sewing and crocheting and wood working to name a few.
To know Delight was to love her. She was one of a kind and will be dearly missed.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sweetheart husband Steve, son Josh (Ari), daughter, Christy; grandsons, Mason (Hope), Kaine and Josh, granddaughters Madison (Lawson) and Jaylee, sisters Brinda Cole and Lanae Sutton, brother Drandell Warren, sister in law, Sue Engle, Daughter-In-Law: Charlene (Jon), and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Travis Warren, mother, Wyvonia Long, brothers, Mike and Phillip Warren, granddaughter, Emily Engle and son, Jason Engle.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
