Funeral for Kala Jones Phillips, 29, of Trinity will be Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at Parkway Funeral Home, at 12:00 PM with Bill Becker, Nicky Pressnell, Jacob Willingham, and officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be two hours before the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Phillips, who died Friday, October 27, 2017 at her parents home , was born, March 16, 1988, to Mike Jones and Anita White Jones. She was a member of Dancy’s Chapel Church of Christ. She enjoyed music and teaching at Moulton Middle School. She was Valedictorian 2006 from East Lawrence High School. Kala earned her eternal reward 5 years to the day that she was diagnosed with cancer.
