Funeral service for Kadan Stansell Johnson ‘Captain America’, age 10, of Vinemont, will be at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at First Baptist Church with BJ Shelton officiating. He will lie in state at the church from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. Burial at Hopewell Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Stansell passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021 at his residence. He was born Sunday, June 27, 2010.
He is preceded in death by his brother Eli.
Survivors include his mother Amy Stansell (John Meadows); brothers,Jayden Meadows and Jackson Meadows; sisters, Alaska McMahon and Claire Meadows, Mom and Dad, Stacy and Brad Johnson; sisters, Reagan Pittman, Holland Johnson, Ayden Johnson, Kya Johnson, and Emma Johnson; brother, Kingsley Johnson, grandfather, Douglas Stansell; grandmother Kimberly Stansell; aunt, Kristina Denham; uncle, Lucas (Hannah) Stansell; great grandparents, Calvin and Virginia Stansell; and cousin, Brody Allen Denham.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 24, 2021 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
