Justin Keith Smith passed away on June 29, 2026, at the age of 69 in the Huntsville Main Hospital after a long illness. He was born on October 7, 1956, to Norma Dean Henson and Frealand Smith. He was a lifelong resident of Guntersville, Alabama. Survived by brother, Charles Smith (Sonja); sisters, Janet Weathington (Ray), Clara Ashley; children, Josua Alan Abercrombie (Connie), Kayla Renae Smith (Blake), Matthew Dillon Thomas, nine grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents, Norma Dean Henson and Frealand Smith; sister, Melissa Smith Farmer, Brother-in-law, Anthony Ashley, grandchild, Mason Thomas.
He enjoyed fishing with his brother, Chuck and watching Alabama football. He was loved by his family and friends. Services will be at Carr Funeral Home, visitation 7/5/2026 6pm-8pm, service will be 7/6/2026 2:00pm followed by burial at Rehobeth Missionary Baptist Church in Guntersville, Alabama.
