Junior Earl “Squirrel” Jaynes, age 62, of Florence, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2015, at home with family and friends at his bedside. Visitation will be Saturday, February 7, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Squirrel was preceded in death by his mother, Rosie Butler; father, Earl Frank Jaynes; two brothers, James Allen Butler and Franklin Butler; and sister, Betty Butler. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Jaynes; son, Junior (Christy); daughters, Linda Parker (Keith) and Christie Hart; grandchildren, Rusty & Dusty Jaynes, Brayden & Braxton Parker, Bradley Robison, Chase, Austin, Lauren & Alexandra; sisters, Jean Stoneburger, Sybil Barton and Bertha Jaynes. The family would like to express our appreciation to Hospice Advantage, especially Georgina, for their loving care.
