June Carolyn Sims (nee’ DuBois), 89 of Stevenson, Alabama, passed away peacefully on March 9,2025,
at 11:00 A.M. She was born in Pembroke, Georgia and spent her life devoted to her family, her faith, and the simple joys that brought her happiness.
Carolyn was a devout Christian who found great comfort in her faith. She had a kind heart and a warm presence, always enjoying the company of others. She loved reading, working on picture puzzles, and making a home filled with love and care. Above all, she was a dedicated and loving mother who took exceptional care of her children.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Earl Sims; her daughter, Patricia Karen Sims; and her brother, Clifton DuBois.
She is survived by her sons, David Wayne Sims and Steven Earl Sims, her brothers, Gary DuBois and Thomas DuBois, her niece, Brenda Muterspaugh; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Her kindness, strength, and unwavering love will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew her.
Visitation will be held at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, Al, located at 45015 Al Hwy 277, Stevenson Alabama 35772 on Saturday March 15,2025 at 12:00 P.M. followed by the service at 2:00 P.M.
