Funeral service for Larry Joe Shipley, 84, will be Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 4:00 PM at Flint Church of Christ with Bro. Chris Pressnell officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hartselle Memory Gardens. No Visitation is scheduled.
Mr. Shipley died on Monday, March 7, 2025 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born May 23, 1940, in Morgan County, to Gaines Byron Shipley and Edna Clyde Sandlin Shipley.
He was employed by a Tractor and Equipment Company, in the Shipping and Receiving department, prior to his retirement. He was a faithful, dedicated member of Flint Church of Christ and was loved by the members there.
Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother; Donald Shipley.
The Men of the church will serve as pallbearers.
