Julia R. Ledbetter – Obituary

Julia R. Ledbetter, 86, went to be with her Lord and Savior February 17, 2018.  She was born July 2, 1931 and was active in ministry with her husband, Hollis O. Ledbetter, as he pastored in Alabama, Florida, Illinois and Georgia and served as a missionary in Israel, Kenya and Australia.

Funeral services will be Thursday, February 22, 11 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL. The family will receive friends following the service. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Red Bay, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by her children – Charlott Mayhall (Sam) Mocksville, NC,  David Ledbetter (Donna) Huntsville, AL, Deborah Kennedy (Jerry) Plano, TX and Deneice Burgner (David) Lakeland, FL; ten wonderful grandchildren, eighteen precious great- grandchildren, and nieces, nephews & cherished friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hollis O. Ledbetter, her parents, W.A. & Ruth Rhodes, siblings, Lymon, Hammond, Celeste and Syble and a great- grandchild, Jonah.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to your local church mission program.
