Judy Kaye Norris, age 66 of Sumiton, passed away Sunday August 13, 2017. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Funeral service will be Wednesday August 16, 2017 at 3:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial chapel. Rev. James Aycox will officiate. Burial will follow at McCormack Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm Wednesday afternoon in the chapel.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James N. Thursby, Sr. and Janet LeVan Hood; daughter, Melanie Lane Norris; and brothers, Bruce Thursby, Jimmy Thursby, and Todd Thursby.
She is survived by her husband, Steve Norris; daughter, Carissa Fikes (Chad); grandsons, Drake Norris and Zeke Fikes; sisters, Lisa Childers (Keith) and Carol Lee Warren; mother, Judy Thursby; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other family members, and a host of friends.
