Judy B. Nicholson, 76, of Harvest, Alabama went home to be with Jesus and her family on Friday, April 24, 2026.
She was raised in Gurley, Alabama. Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Ruth Boyd, her husband, Charles Nicholson, three beloved sisters; Blanche Boyett, Helen Dean, and Nellie Carlisle, as well as two brothers, Harold Boyd and RC Boyd.
Judy is survived by her two sons, Mark (CJ) Nicholson and Marty (Tonya) Nicholson, her pride and joy granddaughter, Emma Nicholson, one sister, Faye Harbin, one brother-in-law, Dewey Boyett, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
A visitation for Mrs. Nicholson will be held at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home in Ardmore, Alabama, on Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM. A Chapel Service will be held immediately after visitation with service time beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Fords Chapel Cemetery located in Harvest, Alabama. Bro. Ricky Self will officiate the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and/or the Huntsville Animal Services.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home is assisting the family with services.
