Mrs. Judith Spoons, 89, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family members on Saturday, October 7, 2023. She was born on January 22, 1934, in Guthrie, Oklahoma. After graduating from high school in Ada, Oklahoma and marrying her high school sweetheart, she loved her role of being an Army wife and the wonderful opportunities and experiences that allowed her to see the world while raising her family. Judith was a graduate of George Washington University with a degree in Political Science, an avid traveler and an accomplished artist. Her travels took her to five continents where she found inspiration for many of her landscape paintings.

Spoons, Sr.; seven children: Butch Spoons (Lynne) of Ridgecrest, CA, David Spoons (Debbie), of Springville, UT, Michele Spoons-Wood (Jim) of Florence, AL, Rene’ Spoons of Florence, AL, Lisa Gould (David) of Muskegon, MI, Allison Nobles (Derrick) of Lacombe, LA, and Alexia Sandlin (Darrell) of Florence, AL; eleven grandchildren: Dirk Spoons (Jennifer) of Richardson, TX, Brett Spoons of Ridgecrest, CA, Lt.
