A memorial service for Judith Gail Lawrence, formerly Judith Slack, of Decatur, will be Sunday, December 13, 2015, at 2 p.m. at The Tabernacle located at 35 Tabernacle Road in Hartselle.
Ms. Lawrence, who died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born on Dec. 26, 1941, in Lawrenceburg, TN to Polly and Lonnie Lawrence. She was a graduate of Morgan County High School and a longtime resident of Morgan County. Ms. Lawrence was a child nutrition worker for the Morgan County Schools for 18 years as well as an employee of Lab Corp. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, David Clark.
Ms. Lawrence is survived by a daughter, Rhonda Clark Achord (Jim); and a son, Robert R. Slack III; five grandchildren, Kari Achord Covington (Scott), Kayla Achord Ewing (Erik), Katarina Clark, Kristina Clark Zakariasen (Brad), and Keltie LeQuire-Clark; and three great-grandchildren, Landon and Ryder Covington and Isaac Ewing.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Animal Friends and Humane Society.
