Jeffolene Schrimsher Jolly, 86, passed away peacefully at home Friday Dec. 4, 2015 surrounded by family. Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 7, 2015, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home of Athens with Bro. Richard Bradford and Bro. Daniel Smith officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Jeffolene was a life-long member of New Hope Baptist Church. She was retired from Limestone Health Facility. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn Clendon Jolly, her parents, Charles and Sallie Schrimsher and her sisters, Mildred Phillips, Frances Hays, Margorie (Etoile) Miller.
She is survived by her two sons, Larry (Jeanette) Jolly and Lonis (Kim) Jolly; two daughters, Dianne Ernest and Sally (John) Carroll; four grandchildren, Kelli (Scott) Sandy, Emily (Chad) Harbin, Adam (Carey) Carroll and Audra Ernest; nine great grandchildren; sisters, Sarah Phillips and Ida Lee Lowery; brothers, Charles (Bud) Schrimsher, Frank Schrimsher and Jack Schrimsher; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be, Scott Sandy, Chad Harbin, Allen Phillips, Shaw Sandy, Eric Schrimsher and Johnny Miller. Honorary Pallbearers will be great grandsons, Grayson Harbin and Sam Sandy.
Memorials may be made to New Hope Baptist Church or Good Samaritan Hospice.
