Judith Barnes Ingram Berry, 82, of Huntsville, AL, passed away on February 12, 2025, in Huntsville Hospital.

Judy was born in Trussville, AL to EM and Aline Barnes on December 1, 1942. She went to high school at Coffee High School in Florence, AL and graduated in 1960. She went on to earn a degree in early childhood education from Birmingham Southern College then worked as a gifted teacher in Huntsville for 35 years.

She enjoyed playing bridge with her bridge club, singing in the choir at Monte Sano United Methodist Church where she won the Denman Evangelism Award for the North Alabama Conference, volunteering at Burritt Museum where she was volunteer of the year, swimming at the Monte Sano pool and generally being a part of the Monte Sano community. She was devoted to her friends and family and was always looking to bring new people into her groups of friends.

Judy is survived by her son, John Ingram (Natalie) of Alpharetta Georgia, her granddaughters, Aidan and Ansley; sister, Susan Lamb (Skip); brother, Ernie Barnes (Nancy); and stepson, Asher Berry (Mauro). She was preceded in death by her first husband Hugo Ingram and her second husband, Childs Berry.

The funeral service will be held at Monte Sano United Methodist Church on February 15 at 11 a.m. with a visitation starting at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville.
