Joyce Newman Lenox, 89 of Huntsville, passed away on Tuesday, April 16th, 2024. Mrs. Lenox was born on March 10th, 1935, in Lacy’s Spring, Alabama, to John and Grace Stidger Newman.
Mrs. Lenox is survived by sons Mike Lenox (Anne), Tim Lenox (Janey), and Barry Lenox (Andrea); 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and brothers Larry Brown (Jane) and J.T. Newman.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 65 years Herbert Lenox; and siblings Jimmy Newman and Johnie Lou Moore.
A graveside service for Mrs. Lenox will be Saturday, April 20th, 2024, at 1:30pm at Roselawn Cemetery, with Terry Jackson officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00-1:00pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lenox was a member of West Highland Baptist Church. She retired from Athens State College.
