Betty Sockwell Darby, 85, of Florence passed away April 10, 2024. Visitation will be Friday, April 19 from 12:00 – 1:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 pm in Florence City Cemetery.
Mrs. Darby was preceded in death by her husband Charles Darby.
She is survived by her children Mike Goodman (Debbie), Tony Goodman, Charles “Bit” Goodman (Lisa), and Misty Darby. Additional survivors include six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and niece Della Bonds.
Mrs. Darby was a hairdresser for many years and owned Goodman Beauty Salon. She was a great mother and there will never be another one like her. She adored her dog (Sammy).
