Funeral service for Joyce Hooven Gillespie, 72, will be Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jay Rhodes officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 6, 2013 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Gillespie died on Monday, March 4, 2013 at Decatur Morgan Parkway Medical Center. She was born April 8, 1940, in Cullman County to Preston Ayers and Dorothy Odessa (Farley) Ayers. She was retired from Solutia/Monsanto. Mrs. Gillespie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and was loved by everyone that knew her. We loved her dearly and she will be missed.

Two Brothers: Chester McHan, Hartselle, AL and Randy McHan, Hartselle, AL
One Sister: Connie Weeks, Decatur, AL
Two Grandchildren: Stephanie Britt and Stephen Britt
One Great Grand Child: Christopher Britt
Pallbearers will be Stephen Britt, Travis Boginski, James Weeks, David Carroll, Craig Gillespie, Danny Prater, and Colton Prater.
