Joyce Evelyn ParkerJoyce Evelyn Parker, 87, went home to be with Jesus on Friday, July 1st surrounded by her loving family. Joyce dedicated her life to wanting to be like Jesus, and she loved selflessly and had a servant’s heart. She was a giver of hugs and her famous “pink salad.” To meet Joyce or to see her was to see the joy of God. Joyce always answered the phone by saying, “Jesus loves you and so do I.”

Joyce is survived by her six daughters, Pam Burnell (Stuart), Sonja Staggs (Gary), Lorraine Ramey (Andy), Susan Thul, Denise Bigoney (Randy), and Stacy Hall (Chris), ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, a sister, Sherry Jolly Wynn, a brother, Garry Crozier, and multiple nieces and nephews.

Joyce is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Leo Parker; son, Larry David Parker; grandson, Matthew Ryan Ramey; parents, Clyde and Nina Crozier; and her sister and brothers.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 6th from 5-7 PM at Berryhill Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will take place on Thursday, July 7th at 11 AM at Berryhill Funeral Home with Pastor Stephen Hampton officiating with graveside service following at Huntsville Memory Gardens. Special thanks to the River Hills Church family and to Kindred Hospice for their loving care.
