Joyce D Martin, 91, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away Saturday, December 9. Joyce grew up in Homewood, Alabama, graduated from Phillips High School, attended Auburn University and Birmingham Southern. In 1954, she married Don Martin, and they moved to Texas for a short time but eventually returned to Huntsville to stay.
Joyce loved the outdoors: fishing, biking and gardening. She loved her pets fiercely. But most of all, she loved her family and was the most loving mother God could have given us.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, and her son-in-law. She is survived by her children, Kerry Alan Martin (Jamie) of Owens Cross Roads, Alabama, and Carol Anne Riddle (Jack, deceased) of Trinity, Florida; and grandson, Dustin Martin of Scottsdale, Arizona.
