Joyce Ann Pierce Mansell, age 82, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at her residence in Russellville.
Joyce retired from working in production at Pilgrim’s Pride. She was a member of Russellville Church of the Nazarene. As her daughter says, “Mother looked to the Lord for her strength. Yesterday afternoon, my humble, quiet, meek mother entered the presence of our Lord. She is now experiencing no more sickness and no more pain. She may have been quiet and reserved here on this earth, but I believe she is shouting and singing as she is now in God’s presence and having a family reunion with all her loved ones that have went on before.”
She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Lisa Martin (Thomas), Stephanie Briles (Chris), Daphanie Kinard (Paul); grandchildren, Constance (Jace), Brandy, Alisha (Mike), Lindsey (Riley), Joseph (Erin), Jessie, Jacob, Hunter, Carley, Emerson; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth McDougle; and a host of nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Ray Mansell, Sr.; sons, Tommy Ray Mansell, Jr. and Cory Heath Mansell; parents, Jessie & Lillie Mae (Chambers) Pierce; brothers, Boyce, Gresham, James; and sisters, Emma and Betty.
The visitation will be 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 18, 2025, at Spry Memorial Chapel. A graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 18, 2025, at Knights of Pythias Cemetery. Bro. Thomas Martin and Bro. Paul Kinard will speak at the service.
