Joyce Ann Brooks, 84 of Elkmont, passed away on Sunday, March 6th, 2022, at her residence. Mrs. Brooks was born on September 5, 1937, to Leroy Goats Sr. and Effie Beets Goats.
Mrs. Brooks is survived by her husband, Bob Brooks; children Sandy Lack and Tim Brooks; grandchildren Christy Christmas (Jeff), Brandon Lack (Suzanne), and Jamie Lack; great-grandchildren Jacob, Carley, and Haylie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents; 6 sisters; and 2 brothers.
Funeral services for Mrs. Brooks will be Thursday, March 10th, 2022, at 11:00am at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Robert Fudge and Matt Lannon officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 9th, from 5:00-8:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hasting Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brandon Lack, Jacob Tate, Jimmy Brooks, Lee Schultz, Mike Casteel, and Jimmy Black. Honorary pallbearers will be John Bryan, Jimmy Wales, Thomas Wales, Larry Lovell, and Donnie Rogers.
Mrs. Brooks was a member of Ephesus Church of Christ.
