Jimmy C. Mason, 73 of Athens, passed away on Saturday, March 5th, 2022, in Cullman, Alabama. Mr. Mason was born on July 16th, 1948, to Arthur D. and Annie Lee Mason.
Mr. Mason is survived by his children Julie Frye (Mark) of Minneola, FL, Jeffrey Lovell of Birmingham, AL, and Jennifer Rude (Brian) of Starkville, MS; grandchildren Michelle Caldwell (Tim) of Wesley Chapel, FL, Andrew Frye (Jasha) of Orlando, FL, Matthew Frye of Minneola, FL, Danielle Sims of Birmingham, AL, Cheyenne Burchett of Fairview, OK, Sydney Lovell of Birmingham, AL, and Ashley Baker of Starkville, MS; great-grandchildren Alyssa Caldwell, Tyler Caldwell, and Wyatt Caldwell; and brothers Raymond Mason and David Mason.
Preceded in death by parents; wife Judy Mason; sisters Thelma Griffin, Margie Porta, and Betty Payne; and brothers Billy Mason and Bobby Mason.
A memorial service for Mr. Mason will be Tuesday, March 8th, 2022, at 6:00pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Greg Brown officiating.
Mr. Mason was a member of Northside Church of Christ. He was a skilled carpenter, and he loved to help others. Most importantly, he loved his kids and grandkids.
