Funeral service for Joyce Alene Jarrett Hammond Harris, 70, of Moulton, will be Monday, March 4, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Hollis Retherford and Eric Holland officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Moulton Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Harris, who was a retired florist, died on February 28, 2013, at Lawrence Medical Center. She was born on August 3, 1942, in Moulton to the late Coy Jarrett and the late Lillian Inez Terry Jarrett. She is preceded in death by her two great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Robert D. Harris of Moulton; four sons, Michael Hammond (Connie), Timothy Hammond, Kenny Harris (Jodi), all of Hillsboro, and Marty Harris (Amanda), of Trinity; two daughters, Beverly Nix (Randall) of Moulton, and Susan Thompson (Billy) of Speake; one brother, Larry Jarrett (Ann) of Town Creek; one sister, Pamela Wooten (Bill) of Georgia; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be loved ones.
