Josie Emma Lancaster Putman – Obituary

Mrs. Josie Emma Lancaster Putman, 84, a native of Wayne County, Tennessee and a resident of Lauderdale County, passed away Friday, September 21, 2012 at Mitchell Hollingsworth Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was a retired Cosmetologist and a wonderful wife and mother and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 23, 2012 from 1 – 3 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home with the service beginning at 3 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Donnie McDaniel. Burial will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Putman was preceded in death by her husband, Elton A. Putman; parents, John and Roxie Lancaster; brothers, Eddie, Reeder, Prince, and James Lancaster; sisters, Bessie Holt, Veda Butler, Jessie Daniel, and Joyce Meador.
She is survived by her daughters, JoAnn Brown (Lendon), Jeanette Putman, Carolyn McDaniel (Donnie); grandchildren, Jennifer Brown Wooten, Laura Beth Brown Gardner, John Robert McDaniel, Melanie McDaniel Harrison; five great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Lendon Brown, Kenneth Daniel, Brandon Harrison, Trey Wooten, Rob Gardner, and John McDaniel.
Special thanks to all the staff of Station 4 at Mitchell Hollingsworth Nursing Home for their wonderful care.
