Kenneth Russell “Lightening” Davis, 76, of Cherokee, died Friday, Sept. 21, 2012. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Barton Cemetery with Gary Cosby officiating.
Mr. Davis was a native of Colbert County and a member of the Boilermaker Local No. 455.
Survivors include his wife, Yvonne Davis; sons, Kenny Davis (Melinda) and Mike Davis (Haley); daughters, Tammy Woodis (Larry) and Kim Sledge (Tommy); and eight grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Sean Woodis, Michael Ivey, Jeremy Ivey, Zachary Davis, Larry Woodis and Tommy Sledge.
Morrison Funeral Home of Cherokee is directing.
