Funeral service for Josephine Tidwell Owens, 82, will be Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ralph Henderson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in New Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 24, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Owens died on Monday, April 23, 2018 at her residence. She was born July 2, 1935, in Morgan County to James Edward Tidwell and Ruby Otto Brown Tidwell. She was a nurse for Summerford Nursing Home prior to her retirement. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She was preceded in death by her husband: Roland Owens, her parents, and an Infant son and daughter, She will be missed by her loving family.
