Joseph Wheeler Beasley, Jr., 86, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at his residence. He was born in Red Bay, AL to Joseph Wheeler Beasley, Sr. and Yvonne Bernice Lowery Beasley. He was sent to Korea for thirty-two days for an FFA Program, was President of the State of AL 4-H Club and played baseball at Auburn. Joe worked for Red Bay Water & Gas for eighteen years and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Red Bay.

Services will be Sunday, February 23, 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Mitch Nethery officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, February 23, 12-2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL. Burial will be in Dempsey Cemetery, Russellville, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by three daughters, Angela S. Beasley, Melissa L. Beasley and Cynthia L. Beasley; a brother, M. Thomas Beasley; grandchildren, Allison Lindsey (Brad), Thomas Alexander Beasley, Cody Dill, Kala Dill, Chase White (Alex), Candice Long (Brandon) and Joseph Brett White; ten great-grandchildren and special cousin, James Lowery.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Dempsey Beasley; a son, Kevin Thomas Beasley; his parents; a brother, Charles Beasley and a brother-in-law, Doug Dempsey.

Pallbearers will be Chase White, Brett White, Brad Lindsey, Brandon Long, Josh Hester and Dennie Robinson. Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Dill and Tommy Beasley.
