Joseph Randall Odom, age 65, passed away Thursday, Dec. 24, 2015. A memorial service will be held today at 2 p.m. at Cross Point Church of Christ. Visitation will be held 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. before the service and immediately following the service. A private burial will be held at a later date.
He was preceded in death by his father, Mack Odom.
He is survived by his son, Jeremy Odom; mother, Narcis Odom; sisters, Ann Minor and Sue Lancaster; and grandchildren, Dylan, Destiny and Somer Beth.
Joe was a second generation cobbler who owned City Shoe Shop, a shoe repair business started by his late father, Mack Odom, in 1948 at its original location on South Seminary Street in Florence, Alabama. He was a kind man who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
