Joseph Leon Campbell passed away on August 13, 2026. He was a loving, caring and beloved son of Kermit L. Campbell and his mother, Charlotte L. Campbell.
He was a member of Cane Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Jasper, AL. He was saved by the grace of God in August 1986 and baptized in May of 1987 under Pastor Ricky Phillips of Berry, AL.
He had the God given talent of playing a guitar and he loved his King James Bible. He loved sharing the Word. He would give you the clothes off his back if you needed them. He knew no strangers.
Joseph was preceded in death by his Father-Kermit Leon Campbell; Grandfather-William H. Reed and Grandmother-Barbara F. Reed of Quinton, AL; Grandfather-Wm. Clyde Campbell of Warrior, AL and Step grandmother-Arzella Campbell; Grandmother-Lillian Campbell Copeland and Step Grandfather-James Henry Copeland of Jasper, AL.
He is survived by his Mother-Charlotte L. Campbell of Bessemer; Uncles-John O’Breant of Warrior, AL, Terry LeVan of Graysville, AL and Ray Reeves of Sipsey, AL; Several cousins and friends.
He is greatly loved and missed. He is in God’s Army now.
