Jonathan “Cody” Dakota Bentley, 21, passed away Friday, May 13, 2016, as a result of an automobile accident. He was born August 4, 1994 to Bruce Nelson and Elizabeth Bentley Garcia in Amory. He played in the IAHS Band before he graduated in 2013. He enjoyed video games, working on cars, listening to music, and spending time with his family and friends, especially his best friend Sam Elder.
Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth (Jose) Garcia of Mantachie, father, Bruce (Tamara) Nelson of Wren, a brother, Joey Garcia of Mantachie, Aunt, Charlene Bentley of Chatom, AL, Uncle, Chris (Sherry) Bentley of Shannon, Cousins, Meagen Minor, Thomas Minor, Jacob Minor all of Fulton, and Abbigail Bentley of Shannon, grandparents, Charles (Patricia) Bentley of Fulton, and a host of friends.
His best friend, Sam Elder passed away in the same automobile accident.
