Johnson Wayne Cozart, age 45, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, died Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Johnson was born July 8, 1979, in Columbia, Tennessee, to Ralph Cozart and Kathy Young Gillum. He was employed by Moon Pencil Company and was an accomplished artist and loved drawing. He enjoyed spending time in nature, walking around the farm, and especially spending time with his nephew and watching him play sports. Johnson will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his father Larry Gillum; brother Dwayne Gillum; grandparents, Wallace and Emma Young and Clyde and Virginia Cozart.
He is survived by his mother Kathy Young Gillum; father Ralph Cozart; brother Justin Gillum of Cornersville; sister Hannah Cozart of Murfreesboro; stepbrothers Stephen and Bradley Sprouse of Murfreesboro; special nephew Knox Gillum; special friend Gene Pearson; longtime sweetheart Crystal Williams; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be held at London Funeral Home, 324 West Church Street, Lewisburg, Tennessee, on Sunday, April 6, 2025, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
Funeral Service will be conducted on Monday, April 7, 2025, at 3:00 pm from the Chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Gillum Family Cemetery.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and medical team for the care and compassion shown to Johnson. We will be forever grateful for your kindness.
Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Gillum, Lee Young, Timmy Morton, Billy Young, Stephen Sprouse, and Bradley Sprouse.
