Funeral for Johnny Raymond Dobyns Jr., 61, of Decatur will be Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at 3 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Ben Bates officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Dobyns died Saturday, March 2, 2013, at his residence. He was born March 15, 1951, in Morgan County to Johnny Raymond Dobyns Sr. and Anna Sparkman Dobyns. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Calhoun Dobyns; his parents; and three sisters, Kathy Garrison, Shirley Shell and Sue Carpenter.
Survivors include one daughter, Abby Dobyns of Somerville; one niece, Lori Medlin of Somer- ville; two nephews, Bobby Carpenter Jr. of Decatur and Darril Shell of Somerville; and several cousins.
