Funeral service for James “Jimmy” William Crawford, 75, of Baileyton will be today, March 9, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ralph McCollum officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery in Marshall County. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Crawford, who died Thursday, March 7, 2013 at his residence, was born August 11, 1937, in Marshall County to William Aubrey Crawford and Martha Jo Turney Crawford. He was a farmer and a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his father, and a brother, John Crawford,
Survivors include his wife, Janie Crawford; one daughter, Dana Jenkins (Mark); mother, Martha Jo Turney Crawford; sister-in-law, Nancy Crawford; and one grandchild, Weston Jenkins.
Pallbearers will be Joe Crawford, Bob Crawford, Tom Crawford, Jack Crawford, Greg Coker and Norman Hartsfield.
