Johnny Dale Heard, 70, of Ardmore, Tennessee passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama.
Dale was born on March 27, 1955, to the late Mr. Johnny Houston Heard and the late Mrs. Marvelene Mullins Heard.
He spent all his life in the Kelly Creek community and was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church as well as an ordained minister. In his free time, Dale enjoyed watching Gunsmoke, he loved catfishing, and loved spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by both of his parents as well as one brother, Donas Heard.
Dale is survived by his wife of 48 years, Donna Heard, one son, Bradley (Melanie) Heard, one daughter, Bobbie Jo (Brent) Pope, one sister, Debbie Heard, four grandchildren: Tristan Heard, Britany (Paul) Pierce, Micah Higginbotham, and Wess Higginbotham, one great grandchild, Charles Henry Pierce, as well as several nieces and nephews.
There will be a Celebration of Life held for Mr. Heard at Union Hill Baptist Church in Ardmore, Tennessee on Saturday, March 7, 2026, with service time beginning at 1:00 PM.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home will be assisting the family with services.
