Johnnie Mae Wright

Johnnie Mae Wright, age 92 of Prospect, passed away at her residence on Sunday March 30, 2025.

Johnnie was born in Giles County, TN on January 4, 1933 to John and Sarah Henderson Wright. She was retired from Maremont Gabriel. Johnnie loved growing flowers, cooking (especially cooking for Dog Days which she did for 16 years), and traveling to Branson, MO. She is preceded in death by her parents; step father Bill Boyd; brother Coolidge Wright; nephews James Wright and Kenneth Tennison; niece Brandy Tennison O’Neill.

A Graveside Service will be at 2pm Wednesday April 2, 2025 at Myers Cemetery in Limestone County, AL.

Johnnie is survived by her caregiver and special niece Shirley Blankenship; nephew Marty Blankenship; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
