George (G.W.) Robinson of Brownsboro died peacefully at his home on March 31, 2025 after his battle withpancreatic cancer. G.W. was preceded in death by his wife, Fausteen (Williams), and one son, David. He was also preceded in death by his father, Alfred “Tobe” Robinson, mother Bernice (Lambert) Robinson, brothers Daniel, Mark, William “Bill”, Cleveland “Stevie” and sisters Betty Sue, Mary Jo, and Judy.
Survivors include two sisters, Martha Jean and Cathy, one brother Charley, sons Johnny (Renee), George (Shelia), James, six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
G.W. loved to play music and was a fan of the late Bill Monroe. His exceptional masonry work as a brick layer can be found in buildings and houses throughout Madison County. He was a longtime member at Gurley church of Christ.
He will be missed by many friends and family. Visitation for G.W. will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. with funeral services following right after at 11:00 on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Valhalla Funeral Home 698 Winchester Rd NE Huntsville, AL 35811 with Bro. Ben May officiating. Interment service will immediately follow
