John Nelson Ligon, 75, of Florence passed away on April 12, 2025. He was a member of the church of Christ and a carpenter and craftsman by trade.
A graveside service will be held Thursday April 17, 2025, in Greenview Memorial Park at 10:00 am.
Mr. Ligon was preceded in death by his wife, Shelia Jo Ligon; parents, Henry and Juanita Ligon; and brother, Patrick Ligon (Ann).
He is survived by sons, Chris Ligon and Jason Belew (Stephonie); daughter, Kelly Grigsby; step-daughter, Jasmine Murphy; sisters, Anita Patrick (Tommy), Margaret Moma (Bobby), and Nancy Ligon; and six grandchildren.
