John Mitchell Rigdon, Jr. – Obituary

John Mitchell Rigdon, Jr., 82, of Huntsville, passed away Sunday.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Rigdon; sons, William Joe Rigdon of Ashville, NC, John Mitchell Rigdon of Toney, Christopher Cole Rigdon (Violet) of Valhermoso Springs, and Timothy Brian Rigdon (Pam) of Madison; brothers, Joe Berry Rigdon of Huntersville, NC, and Phillip Douglas Rigdon of SC; sister, Margaret Rose Skinner of SC; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 1 p.m. at Huntsville Memory Gardens with the Rev. Mark Seanor officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
