John Mark Whitt, 59 of Ardmore, Alabama died on Thursday, October 15, 2015, at Huntsville Hospital.
Born Tuesday, May 8, 1956 in Huntsville, Alabama, he was the son of Bobby Whitt and the late Martha Joyce Birdsong Whitt. He was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church and a member of the American Floral Association in Houston, Texas where he had lived for 25 years. He was preceded in death by his mother: Martha Joyce Birdsong Whitt.
Surviving are his father: Bobby Whitt of Ardmore, Alabama, sisters, Brenda (Ray) McDaniel of Huntsville, AL and Linda (Rod) Steakley of Huntsville, AL, nieces: Sonja McDaniel McCuen and Ashley Steakley Green, nephews John Michael Steakley, David Andrew Steakley and several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 PM on Sunday, October 18, 2015, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Dr. Ray Stonecypher officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM on Sunday, October 18, 2015, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
