John Leo Hight, 64 of Cullman, passed away on Sunday July 28, 2019 at Cullman Regional Medical Center.
He was a member of the Salvation Army Church in Decatur. He was employed with Children’s Hospital of Alabama for 26 ½ years. He loved his kids and loved to fish.
Funeral services will be Thursday August 1, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Major Raymond Cooper and Brother Danny Carter will officiate. Burial will follow in New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Thursday from 1-2 pm.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Irene Hight and his sister, Rebecca Connelly.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Ronda Hight; children, Tiffany Leslie (Jason), Karen Ingram (David) and Charles Hight; 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Sue Quick (Frankie) and Martha Mitchell (Alton); brother, Mike Hight; several other relatives and many friends.
