John Lawrence Dahl, 63 of Jackson Hole, Wyoming passed away January 17, 2025 in Apache Junction, Arizona. He was born June 1, 1961 in Melrose Park, Illinois the son of Lawrence George Dahl and Rosella Marie Ullevig Dahl. He spent most of his adult life traveling the United States and for many years he worked as a cook in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and camping. He could talk comfortably to anyone and always had a smile on his face. Everyone who knew John loved him and he will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his mother: Rosella Dahl; sisters: Christine Hunsaker, Diane Wallace and Dawn Hervey; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Gober Funeral Chapel. The burial will be in Guntersville City Cemetery, Gober Funeral Chapel directing. Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Gober Funeral Chapel.
