Irvin Ray Kimbrough, 80, of Sheffield, passed away Jan. 29, 2025. A graveside service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery in Sheffield on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. The services will be officiated by Pastor Randy Stricklin.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jane Kimbrough; parents, Irvin & Lillie May Kimbrough; daughter, Brenda Hill; brother, Percy Kimbrough; and sisters, Mary Rickman, Nancy Dixon.
Irvin is survived by sons, Herman Mark Kimbrough, Andy Ray Kimbrough (Jennifer); daughter, Tamatha Allen; brother, Harold Kimbrough (Sybil); sister, Eva Roden; numerous beloved grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and special girlfriend, Nancy Murphy.
Irvin loved exploring flea markets, auctions, and hunting for treasures in unexpected places. His day always started with a cup of coffee. Above all, he cherished the time spent with friends and family. Throughout his life, Irvin worked as a painter and roofer.
The family would like to thank the staff at Center Well nurses and hospice nurses.
