John "Johnny" William BeddingfieldJohn “Johnny” William Beddingfield, 73, of Ardmore, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama.

He was born on Saturday, December 27, 1952, to the late William Beddingfield and the late Icy Locke Beddingfield.

Johnny lived in the Ardmore community and was an active member of Macedonia Baptist Church. The church was a big part of Johnny’s life, and he took pride in his responsibilities with the church including being a deacon as well as teaching Sunday school. In his free time, he enjoyed being at the ballpark supporting his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by both of his parents, as well as one brother, Tim Beddingfield.

Johnny is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marie Beddingfield, four sons: Jake Beddingfield, Ben Beddingfield, Josh (JamiLee) Beddingfield, and John David Beddingfield, one daughter, Emily (Ben) Beddingfield Thompson, one brother, Dennis Beddingfield, two sisters, Doris (Wayne) Turberville and Paula (John) Kane, seven grandchildren: Tatumn Mann, Phoenix Beddingfield, Ella Beddingfield, Hayden Thompson, Will Beddingfield, Maggie Beddingfield, and Bo Beddingfield, as well as a special great great niece and nephew, Jacob Smith and Ellie Smith.

There will be a visitation held for Mr. Beddingfield at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home in Ardmore, Alabama, on Friday, July 3, 2026, from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM. A chapel service is scheduled immediately after visitation with service time beginning at 5:00 PM. Bro. Greg Chappell will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Gatlin Cemetery.

Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home is assisting the family with services.
